The Priory Singers will be joined once again by Liam Bonthrone and will perform Vivaldi’s Magnificat and the jazz cantata Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo by Michael Flanders and Joseph Horovitz, plus an eclectic mis of music by Aaron Copland, James McMillan, Arvo Pärt, CV Standford and Philip Wilkinson.

Liam Bonthrone , originally from Perth, is a Scottish tenor in his first year of study on the Artist Masters programme at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, under the tutelage of Robert Dean and Adrian Thompson.
He gained a First Class BMus degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he studied with Scott Johnson and won the Hugh S. Robertson prize for Scottish singing, the Leonie Kayser prize and the Elgar/Spedding Lieder Duo Prize.
He has just completed his Choral Scholarship at Paisley Abbey, under the direction of George McPhee, and this year he was the Kenneth McKellar Scholar.
